What this is
Back On The Line is a missed-call text-back service based in Austin, TX. When you call a business that uses it, or our demo line at (737) 344-5601, and nobody can pick up, you hear a short recorded message telling you that you'll get a text at the number you called from. By calling and hearing that message, you agree to receive text messages about your call.
What we text you
- A text asking what you need and how soon you need it, plus a few short follow-up questions (like your zip code) so the business can help you.
- A short confirmation after you reply, so you know your message reached the business.
These texts are only about the call you made. We don't send marketing or promotional texts.
How often
Usually 1 to 5 messages for each missed call. Message frequency varies with how many calls you make and how you reply.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
Opting out and getting help
Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. You'll get one message confirming you've opted out, and no more after that. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@backontheline.com.
Delivery
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
How we handle your number and messages is covered in our Privacy Policy. We never share your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with third parties for their marketing.
